Janina

“My pamiley… my pamiley…” words from the recently crowned (Or was it ages ago?) Bb. Pilipinas World, Janina San Miguel. It wasn’t certainly the greatest answer in the world, but by golly it caught the attention of every single living Filipino soul in the world.

Do you know what happened just now? Just this very moment? Just today? (No nonsense, I know) She stepped back, and took off the stinking crown, sort of abstained from being the representative of the Philippines to the Miss World pageant! I couldn’t believe my eyes. She backed out, as if she’s the lead role of a play in Broadway. I am not sure if it’s a loss, but to me it is! I thought she could do it, showing the whole world that she’s got what it takes to be a winner. I don’t know what made her back out, but blimey hot digidy it’s not that good a reason if she’ll say “It’s my English spoken language problems that has decided to let me back out peacefully!” I wouldn’t believe that! It’s not credible, duh?

I think she should have thought about it…

In the mean time, September 30, 2008 is the happiest day of my life. Debbie, thank you for your birthday! It’s the luckiest, I swear!

Yesterday too! Greer, I love you! Hahaha!

Servant

It is I, your servant who wish you well

Who offers you my heart and soul

Who’ll cross the seas of eternity

Who’ll cherish the love you give to me

Who’ll cease to exist if you wish me to

Whose never ending love would see you through

I’ll conquer the pain, and then again

I’ll leave all my love for you

So soon has this world passed us by

The end is but near, the world is full of mysteries

It seems to be coming out from a blossom

In a spring, that I’ve worked hard for

I, your servant,

Will make sure you’ll see this day

but a true memory of all the ages

(Just a note to say… I’m not in love! HAHAHA)

I just love this blog!

As I said before, I’m not a fan of blog entries. Entries that are online…

I don’t intend to write very often, but I try! I guess being a busy person, I would always say it is not that easy for me to somehow employ every bit of expression I wish to give. It’s a matter of timing and decision altogether.

I can honestly say I enjoy this blog very much, although it may not be as popular as multiply or blogger or any other type of blog. It’s a mess, actually, to have multiple blogs at the same time. But I can honestly say, once again, that it is this blog that I enjoy very much. I am willing to go on forever just to fill this blog with all that is part of me. And I love it, I really do! It’s pleasant!

I haven’t anything more to say, except one thing. I want to make it clear that as a writer, an amateur according to some of my friends, I want to improve everything that needs to be improved upon. I think it’s what makes writers really impressive!

Anyway, I just love this blog!

Happy Birthday, Greer and Deborah!

Here I am, staring blanky at the screen of this VAIO, waiting for an idea to come flying out of my mind. I gaze at the calendar, finding Sept. 29 and 30 closely familiar to my eyes. And then I remembered…

It's my birthday, celebrate with me!

The 29th is the talented Miss Greer Garson’s birthday.

It's my birthday too! I want to celebrate it with you!

And the 30th is the English Rose’s birthday herself, Miss Deborah Kerr.

Both English in their respectable manner, both MGM’s superstars.

Both to which I solely love. I am in all true honesty, am very happy to have seen them in films they have made. And I will continue to honor them. I will also make it a point to have an entry of each of them…

So, without delay, I would like to say ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” to the most wonderful dames the world has ever known…

fancyephemera.com

I’ve been mesmerized by this website. I’m telling you it’s what makes artists like me feel very happy that the world of art has been introduced into this valley of happiness. I so wanted to draw like it! It feels very pleasant to the eyes, too!

Life in the Eyes of Heaven

Take the road less traveled

Take the road less traveled

She didn’t reply. She didn’t give any sign of opening her mouth to speak. Instead, she took out something from her tiny pocket and handed it to me. I scratched my head in confusion. She smiled as her tiny arm rose up, handing the thing to me with delight. A precious possession she chose to give to me, or at least show me. I smiled at her, too. And then after a while, I took it from her.

I eyed on the rounded piece of treasure. It is a button pin, I thought. And what’s printed on it made me really confused. It says…

‘Heaven’.

I started drafting a short story last Thursday… about this Vendor inside my mind. I didn’t even plan on focusing my character as a vendor. I wanted to twist it a bit, like Mitch Albom’s style of writing.

I’m not planning on spoiling anybody yet… not until I get a positive 3.0 and above for this final project…

In all due honesty, I will give a short summary of it…

Tang, a vendor, has been very disappointed with his wreck of a life. Until one day, a confrontation from a little girl and the button pin changes his life. One accident later, he finds a small cottage in the depths of Mabini Street near U.N. avenue, with the name ‘Heaven’s Orphanage’. There, he meets Gloria Delos Santos, the owner, who has a wreck of a life on her own. He then offers to help her, being the children’s playmate. Gloria hesitates, seeing as how old Tang may be, but then agrees just to get the heaviness of her heart off her chest.

Complete with sad moments as well as enjoyment, Life in the Eyes of Heaven opens our minds to the reality that ‘no matter what happens, as long as life gives us the hardship and the sadness, complete with the turmoil of how cruel life can be, we try to survive it and be free. We see it in the eyes of heaven!’

I hope I do finish it by the end of September… I’m planning on it!

Another new world has opened!

By the power vested in me by the classic film buff society and the writer’s corner of the internet socialites, I welcome myself with all due respect to wordpress.com

Pretty funny starting my first entry like that, huh?

I don’t usually do this online, as I have this belief that conveying your expressive minds to the rest of the world is not good at all. Especially if what you write is something to which you consider deep and dark.

The very essence of writing something concerning films of the old age is what makes a classic movie afficionado like me sort of treasure the one true love I am yet to give. I love The Golden Age of Hollywood. I never missed a good movie in TCM. I bought several DVDs and Videos (And I’m telling you, I’ve always come to DVD stores just to find these rarities!) that I truly treasure. I collect them, and will never sell them! One cannot sell something that is most precious to him.

I consider this blog entry to be the only means of communication that I can give in order for people to notice the CLASSIC AGE of FILM! And I’m just glad I signed up!

Hello world!

I have no idea what this is…

Well, I would make things simple.

I’m an 18 year old college student, working my way to graduation. I want to be a teacher, you know! And I have a strong feeling I’ll be good in doing so…

I dedicate this blog to the intimate journals of my past life… The Hollywood Golden Years!
